2022 Candlelight Music Series
Time: 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM
The Candlelight Music Series hosted by Cher Best on Sundays at The Augusta Common is one of the city’s premier music events. This ongoing music series features music from local and regional bands. Admission is $10. Kids 12 and under are free. You’re encouraged to bring your blankets & lawn chairs and refreshments of choice. Food and beverage vendors will be present. Thank You for not smoking, keeping conversations down & keeping your pets quiet & on a leash.

Food Truck Family Fridays
A new community event launching Friday and continuing every month throughout the fall.
The event will feature an array of food, beverage dessert trucks; live music and DJs; and activities for the whole family. All are invited to this free community event. Food truck and vendor items will be available for sale.
Bring chairs, but leave pets and coolers.

The Art in the Heart of Augusta Festival
In the heart of downtown Augusta, Georgia will encompass the Augusta Common and the 600, 700, 800 and 900 Blocks of Broad Street.
Five Stages of non-stop entertainment:
* Global Stage on the Augusta Common with cultural music and dance along with popular music into the evening.
* Jazz Stage will offer Jazz, Blues, and Roots performances
* NEW Soul Suite Stage will be indoors and feature poetry, storytelling, acoustic music, Soul, spoken word, and improv.
* Family Stage with performances that appeal to children and families.
* Community Stage is back featuring Augusta’s local talent.
International food booths will be available on the Augusta Common. Our popular Family Area and Young Artists Markets are returning as well! This FESTIVAL is produced each year by the Greater Augusta Arts Council. The Festival is a rain or shine event.
Updates regarding inclement weather will be posted to our home page and social media.
BADGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE - Good for admission for the entire weekend.
- Advanced Badges are $12 per person, children 10 and under are free.
- Badges are $15 per person starting Sept. 16th through 18th, online and at the Festival Gates.
(Printed online Tickets can be exchanged for a collectible Festival Badge at the Ticket Gates.

Augusta Market at the River

We will adhere to the CDC considerations regarding the use of facemasks, social distancing and handwashing to minimize the spread of Covid 19.
Artists and craftspeople line the 8th Street entrance to the Riverwalk offering unique, handmade wares and mix in with local chefs and tastemakers selling ethnic fare, locally roasted coffee, fresh baked goods and regional produce. Live music drifts through the air from the riverfront stage while runners finish their morning trek and early birds start their sun salutation on yoga mats. Dogs stroll along with their families and kids play in the fountain when the weather is warm. It’s what makes Augusta fun and funky – all packed into one morning.
